/ Hello

I'm Sam Kellogg. I'm a writer, researcher, editor, teacher, and photographer.

I'm a PhD student in the department of Media, Culture, and Communication at NYU. My current work deals with technological emergence, the (geo)politics of telecommunications infrastructures, digitality and computation, decolonization, and space.

On the side, I'm also Assistant Editor at Public Culture, a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal of cultural studies sponsored by the Institute for Public Knowledge.

Most of the time I am in New York City. Sometimes I am in the Caribbean. Other times I am in the mountains, finding places where the Internet still doesn't reach.

Here, you can find some of my writing, along with photographs from places I've been.

You can download my CV here.

And, feel free to get in touch with me however you see fit; that's what the Internet is for!
